INTERACTIVE NUMEROLOGY
The challenge number is one of the few areas of numerology in which subtraction is used. It is derived from your date of birth, using the month, day, and year. To find your challenge numbers, use the following procedure.
Reduce the month, day, and year of birth into single-digit numbers, like you did to find your Life Path number. But in this case, Master numbers are reduced.
Taking the above examples, May becomes 5; 29 becomes 2 (2+9=11, 1+1=2);and 1950 becomes 6(1+9+5+0=15,1+5=6).Now the Birth Date has been reduced to the numbers 5,2 and 6.
Take the digits for the month and day(5 and 2), subtract the smaller from the larger(i.e., find the difference). In this case, 5-2=3.
Take the digits for the day and the year(2 and 6), subtract the smaller from the larger. Using the exemple, subtract 6-2=4.
The Third and Main Challenge is arrived at by taking the First and Second Challenge and subtracting the smaller from the larger. For the example, 3 is the first challenge, and 4 is the second challenge. Therefore, the third and main challenge is found by subtracting 3 from 4 and arriving at 1.
Taking the digits of your month and year of birth(5 and 6), subtract the smaller from the larger to find the fourth and last challenge. Using the example 6-5=1.
Sometimes, as in the example, Challenges are repeated. In this case, the third and fourth Challenges are same.
Numerology provides a clue to the kind of problems one may face in his life. These obstacles are referred to as challenges in numerology.
With a Challenge number of 1, you must fight to overcome a sense of being held down by those with stronger wills.
To find the First Challenge we subtract the month of birth from the day of birth, or vice versa.
The Second Challenge results from subtracting the day of birth from the year of birth, or vice versa.
